Work
I've recently accepted an offer to work for Equitable Life Insurance located in Waterloo, Ontario. My official start date is January 12th, 2009.
Prior to Equitable Life Insurance, I was doing contract work for Quarry Integrated Communications and Nurun Inc..
Before my contracting days I was fortunate to work for TSOT Inc. and The Centre for International Governance of Innovation where I was a Front-End Developer/User Interface Specialist. These roles included a few different hats ranging from usability, specifications to development.
Technical
My technical background include technologies such as Haml, Sass, XHTML, CSS, Ruby on Rails, PHP, Javascript, MySQL and SVN.
This site has been developed with Ruby on Rails, Haml and Sass on a XHTML Strict Doctype. If you happen to run a check on the validation you will receive a few errors on certain pages because of highlight.js which styles the code blocks within a post.
